Pride & Prejudice
Pride & Prejudice
November 21 - 24, 2024
Written by Kate Hamill
Adapted from the novel by Jane Austen
Directed by Peg O'Keef
With support from the Thomas P. Johnson Distinguished Visiting Artist Program
It is a truth universally acknowledged that Pride and Prejudice is a love story for the ages. Set in the stunning Regency period (a la Bridgerton), this spunky adaptation of the Jane Austen classic pokes fun at the “marriage mart” and the societal norms that fuel its madness. Kate Hamill’s playful take on the iconically independent Lizzy Bennet and the seemingly aloof Mr. Darcy will be directed by visiting artist Peg O'Keef. We invite you to fall in love with this timeless tale all over again.
